Bidding at Deal Digger is simple and transparent. Here's the full process from bid to ownership.

We Contact You
Our team reaches out via call or text message to arrange payment and pickup or delivery.
  • Winner Notification: Once an auction ends, the winning bidder is contacted by our team via phone call or text message using the contact details on their profile.
  • 3 Contact Attempts: We will make up to 3 attempts to reach the winner. If there is no reply after 3 attempts, the item is awarded to the next highest bidder with no exceptions.
  • No Back-and-Forth: Auction results are final and non-negotiable. There is no option to renegotiate price, swap items, or reverse a winning bid once an auction closes.
  • Second Bidder Rule: If the winner cannot be reached after 3 attempts, the second highest bidder is contacted directly. This process is firm and not subject to appeal.
  • Binding Commitment: Placing a bid is a binding commitment to purchase if you win. Please bid only if you intend to follow through.
Make sure your profile phone number is correct and up to date. Missing our call means losing your item — no exceptions after 3 attempts.

Because winners are contacted by call or text, your profile must be complete and accurate before bidding. An incomplete profile means we cannot reach you and your win will pass to the next bidder.

Add your full name, active phone number, and a valid email address to your account. Winners are contacted by call or text — without this, we cannot reach you if you win.

Update Profile
  • Full Name Required: Your profile must include your real full name for identification at pickup.
  • Phone Number: A working Canadian or US phone number that accepts calls and text messages. This is how we contact winners.
  • Email Address: A valid email address for order confirmations and receipts.
  • Keep It Updated: If your contact details change, update your profile immediately. We contact based on what is on file at auction close.
  • Missed Contact? If our 3rd attempt goes unanswered, the win is passed to the second highest bidder. This decision is final with no appeal process.
Important: Bidding without a complete profile is done at your own risk. We are not responsible for missed wins due to incorrect or missing contact information.

  • Bring Your ID: Please bring valid photo ID and your win confirmation (phone screen is fine) when collecting.

  • Free of Charge: There is absolutely no pickup fee. What you won the auction for is what you pay — nothing more.

Live Video Proof & Photographs Included for All Shipping Orders
Before your auction item is packed and shipped, we provide a live video proof and detailed photographs of the item. This gives you full transparency on the condition of your item before it leaves us.
  • Shipping Cost Paid by Buyer: Auction prices do not include shipping. The winning bidder is responsible for paying all shipping and handling costs, which are calculated based on your location and item size/weight.
  • Quoted at Win: When we contact you to confirm your win, we will provide the exact shipping cost to your address before you finalize payment.
  • Live Video Proof: Every shipping order receives a live video of the item being demonstrated and/or inspected before packing. This is sent to you via WhatsApp or email.
  • Photographs Included: Detailed photographs of the item's condition, including close-ups of any cosmetic marks, are provided before shipment.
  • Full Tracking: All shipped auction items include a tracking number from dispatch to delivery.
  • Secure Packing: Items are carefully packed with appropriate protection for transit. Fragile items are padded and double-boxed where required.
  • Delivery Times: Standard Canadian delivery is 1–5 business days depending on region. USA orders typically take 3–5 business days from dispatch.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Our return policy differs depending on how you receive your auction item. Please read this section carefully before bidding.

Pick Up Orders — 1-Day Return Window

  • Return Window: Pickup orders have a 1-day (24-hour) return window beginning from the time you collect the item. Because you inspected the item in person before leaving, this window is shorter.
  • Condition: Items must be returned in the same condition as when collected: unused, unaltered, and with all original components.
  • Return Process: Contact us within 24 hours of pickup via phone or WhatsApp to initiate a return. Do not wait.
  • Refund: Approved returns receive a refund of the auction winning price. Shipping costs, if any, are non-refundable.

Shipping Orders — 3-Day Return Window

  • Return Window: Shipping order recipients have a 3-day (72-hour) return window beginning from the confirmed delivery date.
  • Reason for Return: Returns are accepted if the item does not match the listing description, is significantly different from the live video proof provided, or arrives damaged in transit.
  • Buyer Pays Return Shipping: Unless the item is being returned due to our error (e.g., wrong item sent or undisclosed damage), the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
  • Initiate a Return: Email info@dealdigger.ca or WhatsApp us within the 3-day window with your order number and photos/video of the issue. Do not return without prior approval.
  • Item Condition: Returned items must be unused, unaltered, and in the same condition as delivered, with all original components included.
  • Refund Timeline: Once the returned item is received and inspected by our team, refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.
  • Exchange Option: Where available, we may offer an exchange for an equivalent item rather than a refund. This is subject to stock availability.
  • Damaged in Transit: If your item arrives damaged, contact us within 3 days of delivery with photographs. We will work with the carrier and arrange a replacement or refund.

General Return Rules — All Orders

  • Items Must Be Unused: We do not accept returns on items that have been used, modified, or altered in any way from their original condition.
  • All Components Required: Returns must include all original accessories, cables, manuals, packaging, and any other components that came with the item.
  • No Late Returns: Returns requested outside the applicable return window (24 hrs for pickup, 72 hrs for shipping) will not be accepted under any circumstances.
  • Pre-Approval Required: All returns must be pre-approved by our team before the item is sent back. Unauthorized returns will be refused at our location.
  • Proof of Purchase: Your order confirmation or auction win notice serves as your proof of purchase and must be provided when initiating a return.
  • Final Sale Items: Certain items may be listed as final sale at the time of auction. These items are explicitly non-returnable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable.
  • Auction Nature: Please be aware that some auction items are secondhand, refurbished, or open-box. Condition is fully disclosed in each listing. Bidding constitutes acceptance of the listed condition.
Our promise: We go above and beyond to describe every item accurately and provide live video for shipping orders. If something isn't right, contact us — we will always work with you to find a fair resolution.

Skid Pallet Auctions Read Before Bidding

Skid auctions are bulk pallet lots that offer exceptional value but they come with specific rules that differ from single-item auctions. Please read this section carefully before placing a bid on any skid.

  • Pickup Only / No Shipping: Skid auctions are strictly pickup only. Due to the size and weight of pallet lots, we do not offer shipping for skid auctions under any circumstances.
  • Buyer Must Arrange Transport: Winners are responsible for bringing appropriate transport (truck, van, trailer) to collect the skid. We can assist with loading but cannot transport on your behalf.
  • No Returns, No Refunds, No Exchanges: All skid auction sales are entirely final. There are absolutely no returns, refunds, or exchanges on skid/pallet lots. By bidding on a skid, you acknowledge and accept this condition.
  • Sold As-Is: Skid lots are sold as described and as-is. While we provide full listing details and photographs, the nature of bulk lots means individual items within the lot may vary.
  • 48-Hour Pickup Deadline: Skid winners must collect their lot within 48 hours of win notification. Due to storage constraints, we cannot accommodate extended holds without prior arrangement.
  • Inspect Before Bidding: Photographs and descriptions for each skid are listed in full. If you have questions about the lot contents, contact us before bidding — not after.
  • Winner Contacted Directly: The same 3-attempt contact rule applies to skid auctions. Ensure your profile is complete and your phone is reachable.
No Exceptions: Skid auction sales are 100% final. No returns, no refunds, no exchanges on any item within the lot. Please bid only if you are fully committed.
